Included with the EPAD is a rugged, Stainless Steel Bump-Bar.
The Bump-Bar keys are totally sealed to provide long life, even in the harshest environment.
The EPAD controller is the workhorse
of the KDS. This miniature device
which mounts on the back of most
flat screen monitors is ideal for kitchens
where space is at a premium.
Its simple design makes the EPAD controller is a snap to install, with no jumpers or internal settings.
Simply select the POS system
from the setup menu, plug in the
monitor and Bump-Bar .... connect to the
POS system via the RS-232 or the ethernet
and are up and running.
The EPAD is powered by Vortex 86SX processor with 128 MB DDR2 RAM memory, a 512 MB Disk-On-Module, 2 Serial Ports, 3 USB ports, a PS-2 keyboard port, a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet port, a 1024 x 768 VGA port and a Compact Flash socket.
